The Joseph Project

This incredible initiative, kindly sponsored by ITMI -USA, kicked off last week.

A total of 346 people from 13 villages received food parcels consisting of 25kg Breakfast Meal, 2kg Sugar, Oil and salt. Some of these folk live in extreme poverty. No clinic. No school. No borehole for fresh and clean water supply.

Village Hub leaders accompanied us to share God’s Word. To encourage, exhort, uplift and pray for the frail, disabled, widows and orphans, who were beyond elated to receive their gifts.

To be a part of this, brings one such inner joy and happiness. To see the smiles, the gratitude and relief on so many of these precious faces.

Of course the journey to deliver these supplies is rarely uneventful. With today’s West Bank delivery, we ended up with a shredded tyre from the bush road driving – you never know what’s beneath the sand. . . We had to cross back over with the pontoon, and fetch another trailer, offload and get back on the road.

To see the response of the people,

makes it all worthwhile.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, “I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. “ Matt 25: 34-36
